17.9.2007 –Nexans on hiljattain allekirjoittanut sopimuksen Tanskan suurimman energiatoimittajan DONG Energy A/S:n kanssa. DONG Energy perustettiin vuonna 2006 fuusioimalla kuusi tanskalaista voimalaa. Nexans toimittaa yhteensä 70 km merenalaista keskijännitekaapelia tanskalaiselle Horns Rev 2 -merituulipuistolle, joka rakennetaan seuraavien kahden vuoden aikana. Kaapeleilla tuuliturbiinit liitetään toisiinsa ja merikeskusmuuntajaan, ja kaapelit vedetään 9 - 18 metrin syvyyteen.
